Artist Profile: Fendijett

October 26, 2025 marked an intense day for football. The Giants and Eagles matched off for the second time this season at Lincoln Financial Field. Devastating injuries from Cam Skattebo and Saquon Barkley, as well as a few close calls, made this a hard-hitting game for both sides. Despite the Eagle’s memorable win, the stakes were nonetheless high for New Jersey residents in particular. The split between a culturally New York in north Jersey and Philly-oriented in the south of the state, means sports teams are one of the Garden State’s hardest boundaries. In light of this clear geographic divide, we want to highlight a homegrown music talent to the Northeast, introducing Fendijett.
Fendijett is a Jersey native and rising talent in the Rap, as well as R&B circles. His musical style blends conventional Hip Hop with soulful melodies and emotional subject matter. The vocals of his songs are similar to Juice WRLD, mixing smooth delivery with expressive passion while keeping processing minimal. Outside of rapping, the background beats of his song are mellow and consonant, potentially sparking introspection among listeners.
“CRUISIN’,” released in 2024, is Fendijett’s first single. It was a collaboration with fellow rappers Rising Uncovered and DDPresents. The song features thoughtful rapping behind a high-pitched, synth heavy instrumentation. It would not be until “Hype You Up,” his first track of 2025 and first solo effort, that he would reach viral status. This R&B-influenced track featuring a minimalistic, yet repetitive background beat behind Fendijett’s signature style of rap, has garnered over 108,000 streams in under a year.
Listeners looking for blood pumping music to blast during a workout or frantic party, are going to be disappointed. For the classy old soul with a refined and elegant musical palette, Fendijett reigns supreme.
