Red Light Management Enters the Scandinavian Music Scene

New Venture for Independent Artists

Red Light Management has teamed up with Swedish company The Very Good to launch Red Light Management Scandinavia, based in Stockholm. This marks the first international artist management company to enter the Scandinavian market, bringing a wealth of experience and a global network to the region.

Industry Veterans at the Helm

The venture will be jointly led by James Sandom, founder of Red Light Management UK, and Jakob Emtestam, founder and CEO of The Very Good. The team includes former TEN Music Group head of A&R Ali Vedadi and former Universal Sweden Senior Marketing Manager Love Appelgren, alongside The Very Good’s GM Manne Björkman and Emtestam. This collaboration aims to foster a supportive ecosystem for artist development and international growth.

Focus on Scandinavian Talent

With a roster that includes Swedish Grammy-nominated artists like Olga Myko, Sunnan, and Augustine, the new venture is poised to make a significant impact. The partnership aims to build bridges for Scandinavian artists to reach international audiences, leveraging Red Light’s global network and expertise.

What this means for you

This development signifies a new era of opportunity for independent artists in Scandinavia. With international management expertise now more accessible, artists can expect more robust support for their careers and greater potential for global exposure.

The collaboration underscores the growing importance of strategic partnerships in the music industry, offering independent artists a more level playing field to compete on the world stage.
