Publishing Deal

An agreement where a music publisher administers your compositions and helps generate licensing income in exchange for a share of publishing royalties. A co-publishing deal gives the publisher 50% of the publisher's share (25% of total). A full publishing deal gives 100%. Administration deals give 0% ownership but take a fee.
