Delete Your Account

Poseidon Academy mobile app

This page explains how to delete your Poseidon Academy app account (app id com.poseidonholdings.academy) and the data held with it. It covers only the mobile app account — it does not cover accounts on the theposeidonholdings.com website or any other Poseidon Holdings service.

Option 1 — delete it in the app

The fastest way, and the one we recommend:

  1. Open the Poseidon Academy app and sign in.
  2. Go to Account → Delete account.
  3. Enter your current password to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately. We ask for your password so that nobody who picks up an unlocked phone, or gets hold of a session token, can destroy your account without it.

Option 2 — request it by email

If you cannot sign in, have already uninstalled the app, or would rather not use the in-app flow, email us at conundrumnation@theposeidonholdings.com from the email address you used to create the account, with the subject "Delete my account".

We will confirm and delete the account within 30 days of receiving the request, and in most cases much sooner. We may need to contact you at that address to confirm the request is genuine.

What gets deleted

Your account record is deleted in full. That record is everything we hold about you, and it consists of:

  • your email address;
  • your password hash (we never hold your actual password);
  • the account's creation and update timestamps.

What is retained

Nothing. Once the account record is deleted, no personal information about you remains on our servers. We do not keep a copy, an archive, or a suppression list.

Two things worth knowing, for completeness:

  • Our hosting provider's standard server logs (for example IP addresses and timestamps) age out on that provider's normal schedule. They are operational security logs and are not tied to your account once it is gone.
  • Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is held by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's privacy policy. Deleting your Poseidon account does not reach it. You can reset or delete your device's advertising identifier in your device settings — see the Privacy Policy for the steps.

Data on your device

Your saved lessons and release-checklist progress are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. Deleting your account in the app clears them. If you request deletion by email instead, uninstalling the app (or clearing its storage) removes them.
